Hechok nailed it! The first tournaments on Maincard.io came to an end.
Hello Maincard players!
As you already know, we recently launched a new tournament feature on our platform where players compete for a limited time in predicting sporting events to share the prize pool. This feature has been long awaited by our players and we are actively monitoring how the feature is being used by them.
On December 4, we launched two tournaments for common and rare card holders. Let’s take a closer look at them.
The tournament, which was held for rare card holders, attracted 15 participants. They made 162 predictions. The battle was very intense. The first and second places were even determined by randomization, as the participants scored the same number of points. In the future, the distribution of places in case of such a scenario will be finalized for a fairer distribution of places. Nevertheless, the prize pool was distributed as follows:
1st place — 637 MCN
2nd place — 382 MCN
3rd place — 255 MCN
The common card tournament was for 20 people and the slots filled up pretty quickly. Participants had to choose two common cards to participate. In total, participants in this tournament made 175 predictions. The prize pool of this tournament was distributed as follows:
1st place — 425 MCN
2nd place — 255 MCN
3rd place — 170 MCN
The battle between the participants was also intense, but the player with the nickname Hechok managed to break away from his opponents and take a confident first place. We decided to ask her a couple questions.
Share your feelings from the first tournament, do you plan to continue participating?
Hechok: Yeah, I plan to keep going. And I’ve already reserved a spot for myself. Great tournament. It was exciting moments with the competitors. I’m very grateful to them:)
Which sport and league did you predominantly make predictions on during the tournament? Why?
Hechok: I’d like to skip this question:)
What did you like about the tournament mechanics and what do you think could be improved?
Hechok: You have come up with a cool dashboard with a time report on the return of the cards. And of course it’s nice to get a prize:) I did not like the long waiting time for the return of cards, I would like to speed up and add a notification when the card arrives after the event.
We are glad that the tournaments have increased player engagement, and we will consider all comments for further improvement of this feature.
Tournaments are a great opportunity to prove your prediction skills and compete with other players, as well as increase your MCN balance. You will need it ;)
Registration for new tournaments is open now, grab your spots, compete in predicting sporting events and win a piece of the prize pool!
Sincerely yours,
Maincard.io team
