Hello, the Maincard community! Hope you spent holidays with your family. Stock market seems to start recovering but no worries — it will go down as usually. While SBF declines all the accusations sitting in his parents’ property worth over $250M (both father and mother are professors), we keep building sustainable P2E mechanics to make the transition of the Sports fans from Web2 to Web3 as seamless as possible.

Please welcome the player’s profile!

As everybody noticed, you’ll have to quickly go through a registration process once again to enter your Nickname and user password. Now if you click on your username, you will get to a profile page, showing your statistics, cards in your wallet, and the results of your predictions.

When opening the Information section you’ll see the main card details and a cost of repair in MCN. If your card needs to be fixed, you’ll see a “Fix Card” button. Otherwise you’re all set.

Moving to your wallet — it is very important that you notice this Frame around those cards, which are ready to be upgraded. DON’T RISK losing your win streak by keep betting these cards. Better wait till your other same level card is ready for merge.

On this picture you see that the bottom right and middle Maincards have reached the needed win streak. Hope this is clear. In the next sprint we will add notifications warning you from losing these cards.

We worked a lot on onboarding process, so now our new users get greeting emails AND a Common or a Rare card (we use randomizer) when entering the platform for the first time. We hope you guys will bring your friends to Maincard, and we’ll be growing together.

As for the next steps, we are working on:

  • The brand new kick-ass design
  • Leagues to make weekly tournaments fair — you will compete with only 2/4/6 cards depending on the tournament and each card rarity will have its own league. Of course, Epic tournaments will bring you much more rewards than Common ones.
  • Guilds — experienced players will be able to create local DAOs to compete in team tournaments. Prepare to lead your squad to victory.

Our team keeps growing, soon we’ll start introducing our stars in Discord.

Stay tuned!
