Hello, Maincard players and the Dota 2 community!

A couple of days ago the Maincard Unmatched Dota 2 tournament sponsored by Maincard came to an end and we want to share with you how it unfolded.

Participants

Our first tournament ran from March 9 to March 17 in partnership with Community Gaming. 16 professional teams representing the Americas region participated. Maincard allocated a Prize Pool of $21,000 for this tournament, with the possibility of additional team rewards of $20,000.

It was an online tournament, with matches played in a Bo3 format, culminating in a grand final in a Bo5.

All games were broadcast on the Community Gaming Twitch channel with coverage by professional casters. Additionally, due to the majority of teams representing Latin America, some games were broadcast in Spanish on a separate channel.

The final day of the tournament was held on March 17 and included semifinals, a third place match and a grand final. By the way, the final day of the tournament was also broadcast on his Twitch channel by Danylo Dendi Ishutin, the founder and player of the B8 team — the ambassadors of Maincard.

The third place match was won by the famous North American nouns team, who defeated the beastcoast team.

Estar_backs and Infinity faced off in the grand final. The final were hot and intriguing until the end. Although Infinity confidently won the first two rounds, Estar_backs managed to equalize the score. However, in the decisive round, Infinity gathered their strength and emerged as the champions of the tournament.

Top 4 Ranked Teams

So, the final standings are as follows:

1. Infinity — 10,000$

2. Estar_backs — 5,000$

3. nouns — 2,500$

4. beastcoast — 1,500$

The teams that advanced to the quarterfinals and placed 5th through 8th each received $500.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners!

Tournament Bracket Results

As we mentioned earlier, we have big plans to expand Maincard’s presence in esports in 2024. For this purpose, we have allocated a budget of $500,000. We plan to host and sponsor new tournaments, including a major offline tournament at the end of the year, as well as collaborate with teams and esports celebrities. We are open to suggestions!
