We are excited to share that we have just released a major update in Maincard on TON, which has improved various aspects of the game. Our players have requested many features in today’s update, which will significantly enhance the gaming experience. Let’s break down what’s changed.
Telegram Stars
We have introduced the ability to purchase game cards and merge cards using Telegram Stars — a currency designed to pay for digital goods and services within the Telegram ecosystem. Instead of using TON, you need to have Telegram Stars in your Telegram account balance for card purchases and merges. Purchasing and merging cards for Telegram stars will be commission-free. Introducing Telegram Stars allows us to comply with the requirements for mini-apps in Telegram and continue our path of expanding our presence in the TON ecosystem.
Increased Rewards for “Obvious” Prediction Complexity
Many community members have requested this change, and we decided to listen. In this update, the reward coefficient for the “obvious” prediction complexity level has been changed. Instead of a zero value, it is set to 0.25, allowing you to earn MCN tokens even for predictable outcomes. For example, predicting a complexity difficulty level using a fully intact common card will now yield 2.5 MCN instead of 0 in case of success.
Changing the Mechanics of Demo Cards
All demo cards issued to new players will last indefinitely instead of two weeks. This change once again reflects our commitment to being a free-to-play game. In addition, the yield of demo cards has been changed: for a correct prediction with the standard complexity level, a card with two full lives will yield 5 MCN.
Auction Improvements
A new condition has been introduced for placing bids at the auction. Now, you can only place bids on 5 lots simultaneously. If a user does not have enough funds to redeem at least one of these lots if their bid is the highest, they will receive a 24-hour auction ban. This innovation aims to improve the auction’s operation and increase the number of successful transactions. We ask all users to bid responsibly and only place bids if they have enough real balance to redeem the lot. Also, an auction bid history has been added for viewing.
Simplifying entry to tournaments
We have made it possible to join tournaments for MCN tokens and the “Tournament Ticket” item. Now, more players will be able to participate in tournaments. By the way, entering the tournament for MCNs and tickets will not require payment of blockchain fees.
New Football Leagues and Rugby
We have expanded the football leagues represented on the platform. You can now make predictions on MLS, the Russian Premier League, and the Ukrainian Premier League. Additionally, we have added a new sport for predictions — rugby.
Increased Speed and Stability
We have also sped up the process of receiving rewards for correct predictions: rewards will now be credited within one hour after the event ends. Additionally, the functionality of the “unfreeze” item has been improved for more stability: one item reduces the freeze time by one hour.
